Before installation, it is essential to remove the old lock and measure the opening size to ensure product compatibility. The hole cutout should be 2.67" x 3.6", and the door thickness should range from 1.25" to 1.5".

To install the new RV door lock, follow these steps:

1. Place the new RV door lock into the mounting hole and connect the door latch plate and short screw to the front of the door.
2. Holding the back portion of the RV door lock, align and connect it to the front portion of the handle.
3. Place and tighten the screws by hand (do not use a screwdriver).
4. Close the door and perform a function test.
